FAQs

Helpful info for the weekend

If you have a wedding question that's not on this list, feel free to reach out to Connor and/or Mollie.

What’s the dress code?

The wedding dress attire is cocktail / formal. Fun or bright colors are encouraged. If you're able to join us on Friday night at Gather 22, the attire is casual / cocktail.

Where should I stay in Indianapolis?

We have room blocks at the JW Marriott and Fairfield Inn and Suites. Head to the travel page for booking links.

Can I bring a plus one?

Due to limited space, we can only accommodate guests who are formally invited. Thank you for understanding!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

There's a concert at Lucas Oil Stadium (within one mile of our venue!) happening the same day as our wedding. We recommend alloting extra time to ensure you arrive at the venue prior to the start time of 4:30pm.

Will there be transportation to the venue?

We are not providing transportation to the venue, but both hotel options are close by! There's a parking lot at INDUSTRY you can use, and we also recommend using a ride-share app.

Is there parking at the wedding venue?

Parking is available for up to 90 vehicles at INDUSTRY. Parking outside of INDUSTRY's designated lot is at the discretion of the vehicle owner. INDUSTRY is not responsible for cars parked outside of the lot. Please be mindful of towing zones or "no parking" signage. If INDUSTRY's lot is full, overflow paid parking is available in the lot across the street.

Is there parking at the welcome reception?

Parking is very, very limited at the welcome reception at Gather 22. We recommend a ride sharing app or street parking around the restaurant.

Are kids invited?

Kids are not invited...but please do reach out to us if there's a challenge. We can be flexible!

Is Marlow the ring bearer?

Marlow barks too much :(

Things to do in Indianapolis

Never been to Indy? WE GOT U. Read below for our favorite Indy spots.

Things to Eat

Patachou

A brunch spot that never misses. Even if they look packed, they will be able to seat you.

Upland

Brewery and restaurant with an outdoor patio in Fountain Square. They have good food, too.

Bluebeard

Bluebeard is a spot for foodies. We go here to treat ourselves.

La Margarita

Elevated Mexican. It's not one of the places that gives you free chips and salsa, but it's a go-to for us and the chipotle chicken is delish.

Amelia's Bakery

The best pastries and sour dough in Indy. Also right next door to Calvin Fletcher's and Bluebeard. Dogs aren't allowed :(

Things to Drink

Calvin Fletcher's Coffee Company

Our favorite coffee shop in Indy !!! Drink coffee and watch birds.

Dugout

Dive bar with an outdoor patio, plenty of seating inside, and live music.

Brass Ring Lounge

Another dive bar that's open really late that plays old movies in what seems to be a shipping container. It's Connor's rec.

Turner's

Awesome drinks and cocktails in the newly renovated Stutz building. One of our faves.

Things to Do and See

Kan-Kan Cinema

An independent movie theater on the near East side. Connor watches all of Ari Astor's films here.

Newfields

An art museum and large garden located ~15 minutes north of downtown.

Indianapolis Zoo

Smaller than the Cincinnati Zoo ;), but still lovely. You can walk there from White River State Park.

Bike the Cultural Trail

Rent bikes from the Pacers bike share, ride along the Cultural Trail, and see all of downtown!

Help us with the music!

We need more hits than just the Baha Men. Please add music for the welcome drinks and cocktail hour. If you're an Apple Music person, you may text recs to Connor or Mollie.
